Is this girl going to face any charges? If this isnt worthy of the death penalty nothing is.

Looks like it, according to an earlier article.
" If this isnt worthy of the death penalty nothing is."
Because of her age (and SCOTUS),she would get life in prison.

Authorities charged Ludwig with kidnapping Kara after the slayings. They now believe she willingly fled with Ludwig. This is BS. She can't go "willingly" because she is a minor. She cannot make legally that decision. It's like saying she "willingly" signed a contract to buy a house.

I'm starting my stopwatch now. Let's see how long it takes for her lawyer to claim she was monstrously abused by both parents.
To: AppyPappy
I would think that you're right. But it would get Ludwig off the hook for kidnapping.

She's with family supposedly. Can you imagine being her caretaker? I wouldn't let her within 2 miles of my family.

My thoughts exactly. It will be a long time before these murdered parents will be allowed to "rest in peace". They will be publicly maligned with the most hideous (and false) accusations.

But it would get Ludwig off the hook for kidnapping. It shouldn't. The kidnapping charge should stick, just as it would if a 5-year-old went with him "willingly."
I think that's the point.
To: bonfire
I wonder if this girl is a decendant of the "infamous" Lizzie Borden? Strange coincidence.

Geeze, I saw that "Borden" in the headline & I thought Of Lizzy Borden taking that axe again.
To: AppyPappy
She was kidnapped, but if they end up charging this girl, then the kidnapping charge against Ludwig would possibly be seen as contradictory to a jury.

Well, I heard locally that the authorities were going to drop kidnapping charges.

Is this girl going to face any charges? If this isnt worthy of the death penalty nothing is. What charges? Unless you can prove she knew beforehand that he was going to do it and planned to leave with him after the deed was done, there's nothing to charge.

I think I had read in an earlier thread that she would be charged as an adult.
It may be that PA recognizes 'adulthood' at an earlier age than most.
Not sure tho.

Took an axe
And gave her mother
Forty whacks
When she saw
what she had done
She gave her father
Forty one
