Then you understand that you have just given the "militants", remember they aren't "terrorists", the right to kill American Troops with the sanction of the Iraqi Government. I don't know any other way to look at this, and if we let this stand, it will cause problems not only in Iraq, but in Afghanistan and other middle eastern countries. We must be very clear on this point. The days of trying to define a "terrorist" are over. We know who they are.

Just hold your knee jerk reaction. This right to resistance was a three words statements in a 5 pages document written in the Arabic language where twisting and playing on words is a common thing. The Iraqi government will not condone attacks on their troops or our troops, period. You are wrongly stating the Iraqi government is telling the terrorists OK go ahead attack US and Iraqi troops and that is not true at all.

PS: Communiques, speeches, and words, mean crap for Arabs.

You're WAY overreacting. The communique doesn't give any permission of the sort and the Iraqi people are well aware that more of them are being killed by TERRORISTS than coalition troops.
