"Hopefully with the new military in place with many close and now warm ties with us, their government leadership shall be forced to not turn on the US and main coalition forces's desire to partner with them."

Good point. Friendships have been forged. Countless bonds. We are networked there. And this report is just Arab League
hype. FRegards....

Perhaps we should take the recent lesson of the US House of Representatives charades on an early or immediate pull out and the resultant 403 to 3 vote. A lot of public haranging with little effect.
Should we expect any more from Iraqi politicians? We can tend to forget a lot of stuff still must be put in place for the Iraqi Army and Security forces. Those that think we are just going to pull out, are sadly mistaken in my opinion. Who are they going to go to for future weapon systems and training. To many think it is a cut and dry thing, we leave on a given date. Nothing could be more misleading. Yes our main fighting forces will withdraw, but they have some nasty neighbors, Syria and Iran. And I think it is totally under-estimating the Iraqi's to think they just want the US to pull out and leave them on their own.
