Were they clouds you had ever seen before? Sounds like they were huge. Were there weather conditions that caused the formations?

I was really surprised....it didn't rain that month. Never saw one before. Most of the cloud formations during fair weather are puffy white cumulus clouds....the kind that make one think "Lamb chops would be nice for dinner tonight"
This one showed up and hung around making me think the table has turned.
