drudge is now a news and media clearing house. the blue dress was long ago.
Thanks for the reminder, lainie!
"Pinging as per discussed last night.. with the added bonus of Drudge's appearance on Fox News Channel at 9:45 EST. It's a two-fer."
I thought he was going to be on Larry King. Can you tell me when and where he is going to make appearences tonight?
No.
Woodward is going to be on Larry in ten minutes.
Drudge is going to be on Fox in 50 minutes.
Wouldn't it be awesome if FNC broke Woodward's source while Woodward was on Larry eating cupcakes? CNN would have to go to live breaking news from Fox News Channel. LOL!
LOL! I have both threads side by side on my monitor.
Here's what I posted for Drudge's scoop...
``I have a great relationship with Len Downie, the editor of the Post, and I was trying to avoid being subpoenaed,'' Woodward said. ``And I should have, as I have many, many times, taken him into my confidence. And I did not.'' Howell wrote that Woodward had committed a ``deeply serious sin ... the kind that can get even a very good reporter in the doghouse for a very long time.'' ``He has to operate under the rules that govern the rest of the staff - even if he's rich and famous,'' she wrote. A special prosecutor conducted a two-year investigation of the leak of the name of the CIA officer, Valerie Plame, to reporters. The probe has resulted in the indictment of I. Lewis ``Scooter'' Libby, 55, Vice President Dick Cheney's former chief of staff, on charges that he lied to FBI agents and a federal grand jury about how he learned about Plame's identity and when he subsequently told reporters. Plame's identity was revealed in July 2003 by columnist Robert Novak after her husband, ambassador Joseph Wilson, accused the Bush administration of twisting intelligence about Iraq's efforts to buy uranium ``yellowcake'' in Niger. Special prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald portrayed Libby as the first government official to have shared Plame's name and her work at the CIA. But the Post reported that Woodward, who achieved fame for his reporting on the Watergate scandal during the Nixon administration, may have been the first reporter to learn about Plame in mid-June of 2003, before the Novak column ran. ``I don't like this,'' Woodward said Monday on CNN. ``This is a mighty uncomfortable situation. ... And, yes, some people are unhappy and angry about my role, but, you know, you keep running into situations as a reporter. Where are you going to go?''
What an ass he is.
Sean (V)anity just plugged his show but didn't mention My Good Friend Matt Drudge. Dang, gotta hold the whiskey shot.
"Drudge is going to be on Fox in 50 minutes."
Thank you.
Personally I couldn't give a dang where Woodward is or what he is doing.
LOL! Lainie you are a Great American my FRiend.....
Oh, yeah -- THAT'S one interview meant to build harmony at the Supreme Court. Monumental lack of judgment that Breyer is showing here.
eeek! Ouchie owie.
Woodward just said he knew Wilson's wife was a "WMD analyst at the CIA" yet "I had no idea what that meant."
wtf?
Now those are two very good ideas!
unfortunately, it's not a surprise at all.
I guess in the strictest sense of the word alive, you could say that.....
Hmmm, this thread is Live, but I don't think Larry and Bob are! At about ten minutes to the top of the hour, Paula Zahn showed a clip of what appeared to be this very interview as a "stay-tuned" teaaser. I think they pre-recorded it, wonder what's up with that? No "Live" chryron on the screeen now, either.
Bob's switched his tone from one of disdain for Fitzpatrick, to pointing out that Fitzpatrick now agrees with him.
eeuusshh, you said it!
