...Harris: We cannot tolerate war in this world anymore. Wars are not only disastrous for the societies directly involved but also fatal for all of mankind.
SPIEGEL ONLINE: Is it not an irony of history that of all people it's the USA which fiercely refuses to ratify the Rome Statute establishing the International Criminal Court in The Hague?
Harris: I am a strong advocate of the International Criminal Court and find it completely unacceptable that the US has still not ratified the statute...
Fortunately, the U.S. is not effete like much of Old Europe.

Anyone who writes: "We cannot tolerate war in this world anymore." is dreaming and does not deserve to be heard. What is one to do when one is faced with a Stalin or a Hitler? The attitude that was is not to be tolerated leads to denial of the facts and to actions like those of Chamberlain.
Those who embrace peace at any cost are destined to fight wars they didn't need.

Just goes to show that just because you prosecuted Nazis doesn't mean you can't be a platitude spouting liberal wuss.

What did the communists do in Russia? And the Japanese in China? .
They did what John Kerry accused our brave troops of doing, basically the same as Ghengis Khan actually did...and others before and after him.
Want to end war? STRONG DEFENSE and pre-emptive at times.

Whine?
Stamp your feet?
Hold your breath until you turn blue?
If you don't have a military, you don't get to talk about "completely unacceptable". You just have to roll over and take it. If you don't like it, start building tanks...

When confronting evil - fascism, Communism, Islamism or any other ism - you have to bring it to an indisputable end before you can go forward and deal with the rest. If Mr. Harris is listening, it's precisely because we cannot allow our soldiers to be sacrificed to an internationalist anti-American cabal that shares his thinking that should never sign ratify.

I prefer Clemenza:
"...This thing's gotta happen every five years or so -- ten years -- helps to get rid of the bad blood. Been ten years since the last one. You know you got to stop them at the beginning, like they should have stopped Hitler at Munich...
