Camden is boasting that their murder rate has significantly reduced over the past year, by as much as 40%. Wow! Previously there was, on average, one murder per week. Somehow, though, I would feel strange boasting that the city now has only one murder every other week.
Strangely, Camden and Newark are two of the poorest cities in the nation, while Hunterdon, Sussex, and Monmouth counties (all in NJ) are among the wealthiest counties in the nation.

Strangely, Camden and Newark are two of the poorest bluest cities in the nation, while Hunterdon, Sussex, and Monmouth counties (all in NJ) are among the wealthiest red counties in the nation.I'm wondering if there is any truth to the red/blue thing... Inquiring minds want to know.

Somerset and Morris Counties are the two wealthiest in the United States.
I lived a VERY brief part of my life (age 3-4) in Camden County, albeit in the friendlier confines of Turnersville, where the only death was of deer trying to cross the Black Horse Pike.
