He´s at Murthas house.

You know, if he could ever escape and make it to the US he could probably gain his citizenship, becomne a liberal, and be elected a US Senator within ten years.

I mean it is a fact America takes care of traitors and criminals i.e., Kerry and thre Clintons.

The MSM dodges the bullet again.

OBTW: Have you noted that the MSM is using a a new picture of al-Zarqawi? Looks like he's in a nice white shirt. Next they will have him in a Tux.

>I think the bombing in Jordan will be the beginning of the end for Al Zarquawi. He killed a slew of suslims during a wedding.<

Even more telling, he disgraced his family and tribe, when he vowed to kill the King of Jordan. His family has strong ties to the King, and many of them hold important government positions.

Zarquawi has literally pooped in his own mess kit.

As I understand it, he moves every 3-4 hours.

I've heard that before, and I don't understandwhy this is so helpful for him in eluding capture. I thought getting these dirt bags "on the run" is our goal, and that they would be easier to catch that way than if they were holed up somewhere safe.

This is getting ridiculous. I don't want the military to make another comment about Zarqawi, Zawahiri, or bin Laden until they can show us their heads on a pike. It's starting to remind me of Emmanuel Goldstein.

And if Al-Zarqawi is dead, so what? Another sheet-head will take his place. Our enemy is not one man. Our enemy is all of the Islamic world and the religion that holds it together. My thoughts too. Looks like Moqtada SAdr will be a big problem altho he is shia. he was initally a problem we fought him some, he said he would stand down. I think we shouldve killed him.

Why do we give NBC the scoop on this? What has NBC done to support our troops and our mission? Seems we should be leaking this type of information to bloggers like Instapundit, powerline etc.

Moving from one hideout to another involves a whole host of risks. If Zarqawi is moving every three or four hours it is only a matter of time before he is stopped by a patrol or someone drops the dime on his movement. We know from our day to day experience that we encounter road work, breakdowns, detours; much less road blocks and armed men actively seeking us. God willing it will be soon.

Just like Osama, you can't kill or capture these guys, because someone is needed to be a focal point.

Last night I remember the Whitehouse was also saying something negative about this report and another Freeper told me to be patient.

Well I am going to hold out hope and wait for the official comments from CENTCOM.

They may all be evil, but Zarqawi unlike Saddam or Osama actually has nads.

Zarqawi endlessly moves from house to house planning attacks. While Saddam hid under the ground. And, while Bin Laden hides in a cave in the middle of nowhere away from the battle.

I could never see Saddam jump out of a fast moving car (and under a bridge to avoid the UAVs) like Zarqawi did in Febuary.

I don't understand why this is so helpful for him in eluding capture.

The terrorist leaders are not stupid. They devise robust schemes where almost noone knows where they will be in four hours. This keeps them in the game. People make fun of the endlessly repeated news that top lieutenants are captured or killed, but I tend to think many of these reports are real, and result from a relentless pursuit. It is frustrating that it is never followed by getting the top guy, but I think it is a necessary strategy along with cleaning out insurgents' nests.

Much as I hate the MSM, there may be no satisfying way for them to report this progress which so often looks like non-progress.

I don't understand - maybe someone can help me out - if they had solid intelligence that he was in this house, why didn't they set up a perimeter and capture him when he "escaped"?

There is a difference between "solid intelligence" (from a trusted source) and "actionable intelligence" (having the logistics in the right place at the right time).

One can have solid intelligence about the location of an adversary but if the logistics involved can't be brought to bare in a timely manner, then one can't "act" upon it.

Patience...
