The first time I saw a real pic of George W. Bush, (about the Spring of 99, I guess, on a cover of Time or Newsweek or something) I thought, "He looks a lot like Johnny Carson, to me."
This pic reminds me of why I thought that. Great expression.

The MSM succeeded in capturing President Bush with a grimace, which they keep trying to do, so now all FReepers are having fun at the President's expense, because he was put into an ackwards spot.
I think that's more appropriate at the DU, than here.
And no, I don't think it's funny at all.
As I said on another thread on this subject, thank God that nothing happened, but suppose something would have made it necessary to exit immediately, it may have made the difference between life and death, and the Chinese locked the doors!!!!!!
They should have stationed guards at the doors and kept them open.
This is absolutely NOT FUNNY.
Nobody who cares about the President would consider it funny.

No, he wasn't "having fun with it", he was just quick on his feet and tried to make light of it, because he didn't have much other choice. That doesn't make the situation funny in the least.
