The MSM succeeded in capturing President Bush with a grimace, which they keep trying to do, so now all FReepers are having fun at the President's expense, because he was put into an ackwards spot.
I think that's more appropriate at the DU, than here.
And no, I don't think it's funny at all.
As I said on another thread on this subject, thank God that nothing happened, but suppose something would have made it necessary to exit immediately, it may have made the difference between life and death, and the Chinese locked the doors!!!!!!
They should have stationed guards at the doors and kept them open.
This is absolutely NOT FUNNY.
Nobody who cares about the President would consider it funny.

No, he wasn't "having fun with it", he was just quick on his feet and tried to make light of it, because he didn't have much other choice. That doesn't make the situation funny in the least.

What about all those pics of Kerry during the campaign trying to catch a football, or kicking a soccerball. (I'm sure Freepers here have those they can post.)
People like seeing other people, especially the "untouchables" in humorous positions. It makes our leaders more human to us.

GWB is an easygoing guy with a good sense of humor, but I'm afraid this will end up like the fall on the bicycle a few years back. My lib friends are always bringing that up to show how dumb they think he is.

Oh, no, we can't show that our president is human and that he has a sense of humor. No, that's not Presidential. We should all refrain from finding any humor in this and only post "macho" pics.
