You have the US military doing DNA testing..then you have a White House spokesman claiming the reports are not credible.
Hey Bush Administration get on the same page will you!
where would they have gotten Zarqawi's DNA? Do we have any relatives of his available?
Same page as what? You have one cited government comment, which is "highly unlikely and not credible." Everything else is speculation and/or anonymous sources. The White House wording certainly gives me pause.
"You have the US military doing DNA testing..then you have a White House spokesman claiming the reports are not credible."
You have no logical or scientific training, do you?
Just because it isn't credible doesn't mean you don't check and verify.
I don't think they want to get anyone's hopes up. Besides if he wasn't killed, we'd hear more Bush lied BS.
Calm down...
we have another one of those GREAT anonymous sources saying something before the testing is even done.
I personally doubt we got him either, but I will take it if we can get it. I just can't believe that the guy has been on the run for nearly 3 years now and would be caught relatively easily.
They ARE on the same page. The White House is just trying to downplay the event, so hopes are not raised, and to give The President time to get home from his trip abroad to make the announcement, if indeed it is true.
Let's all hope it is........
They're on the same page.
If we didn't get al-Zaraqawi his well wishers want to know.
Just listen to the chatter.
....OK which is it....
You have offered meaningless choices. At present it is not either or, but both that are correct.
The Whitehouse said the reports of Z death are not credible...... that is a correct statement. There is no proof.
The Army says that to maintain credibility it is offering no statement except it is running tests on the various gobs of tissue splattered all over. That is also correct and not in conflict with the White House.
Neither is wrong. Both are correct.
