No, I am in the mode of paying attention to my surroundings. I guess it comes with being in the military all those years. I am aware of my surroundings every time I venture out. YOU NEVER know what might happen and what actions you might have to take to protect yourself and your family. It is not a big, happy, tame, calm world out there anymore. Beaver and Wally are not skipping down the sidewalks all happy and content. It is a severely damaged and dangerous world out there now. Kids getting grabbed off the street going to school, shooters in schools, in malls, and the bad guys out there wanting to blow up a few million of us. You might be in the "peace" mode, but I am not. I haven't been since I hit the ground in An Khe, Republic of Vietnam in August 1970. Ever since, I have always paid attention to my surroundings. I always keep one eye looking out for something wrong. Several times in my life it has come in very handy.

(I have no faith in any politician or political party any more. They all lie for their agendas.)

I only wish I could be in peace mode.
