Armed standoff at Tacoma Mall (WA)

Two separate reports, one from my Dad and one from a friend... both at Tacoma Mall. Not being allowed inside, due to "someone inside with a semiautomatic shooting in the mall".

Large number of police on the scene, sealing the exits. Not letting anyone in or out.

The campaign against 912 was easily the most dishonest campaign I've ever seen. And they outspent the pro side 20-1. That, along with the media, which has covered for Gregoire more then I have seen the press cover for ANY politician, EVER. It's just tragic.

Witchy woman and her Dem cohorts foisted a 9.5 cent tax per gallon of gas on Washingtonians and yet the voters there voted to keep that illegal tax valid. Talk about stuck on stupid. Let's see how much of that tax improves your highways there in the Peoples Republic of Wa.

912 was approved by 90% of WA's counties.

New caller saying that the perp has people hostage in the Sam Goody, and allowed them to call home to say they were hostages. Caller is the cousin of an employee of Sam Goody.

I would go north to shop in the Tacoma Mall when I was a teen in the 70's. It is a very old shopping mall.
Tacoma has always been a rough town.

A high former police official of Tacoma (was it the Chief -- I can't remember) is currently on trial in my town for the murder of a well-liked community college instructor (retired), who my family knew. The alleged murder took place after some kind of an argument between the men following a fishing trip. There was also the murder or murder/suicide (I'm a little vague on the recollection) by another Tacoma high-ranked police or fire official a couple of years ago.

The Seattle Times says there are 8 injured total. 6 have been evacuated and 2 are still in the mall who can't be evacuated for security reasons.
