[history]
At least one Arab television media outlet reported that Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the head of the al-Qaida in Iraq, was killed in Iraq on Sunday afternoon when eight terrorists blew themselves up in the in the northern Iraqi city of Mosul.
The unconfirmed report claimed that the explosions occurred after coalition forces surrounded the house in which al-Zarqawi was hiding.
WASHINGTON, Nov 20 (Reuters) - U.S. authorities are looking into whether al Qaeda in Iraq leader Abu Musab al-Zarqawi was killed in a gunfight in the northern Iraqi city of Mosul, a U.S. official said on Sunday, but a White House spokesman said that was "highly unlikely."

I'll believe it when it makes the NYT headline.
Tests have shown that the NYT is wrong 85-percent of the time.
I'd wait for a more reliable source.
At this point the "National Enquirer" is a more reliable source then the Grey Old Hag.

The MSM will not announce it until the rats let them know that they've got the "talking points" ready.

I think we'll know before Turkey day. Hopefully sooner.
To: rightwingintelligentsia
True.
Perhaps we could counter with "If we had passed the Murtha resolution, al-Zarqawi would not have been killed, because we would have withdrawn."
I don't know. There's LOTS of smarter Freepers than me out there who could consolidate this better.
