Fight Club

Fight Club By Salena Zito TRIBUNE-REVIEW The first rule of the Fight Club is to never talk about the Fight Club. It's the perfect explanation for the peculiar behavior of the Democratic Party. Democrats are creating their own version of "Project Mayhem" -- with Republicans and George Bush as the target. It seems every time you turn around, the Democrat talking heads are throwing punches in the air. But devoid of any message, they are all punch and no policy. And they don't care. Need proof? Read the transcript of DNC boss Howard Dean's appearance on "Meet the Press" last Sunday. His consistent argument was that now is not the time for Democrats to be for anything; they just need to be against Republicans.

His(Howard Dean) consistent argument was that now is not the time for Democrats to be for anything; they just need to be against Republicans.

The Dems feel the GOP is so evil that the ends justify any means. To the Libs, they liken President Bush to Hitler. Then they can rationalize any lie and uncivilized behavior.

The Capitol Hill Republicans better get things together and push through real legislation now. With the MSM gladly carrying the DNC talking points, the GOP may not be in such a strong position after '06.

The American people need the President to give the Democrats hell. Especially since they stand for NOTHING. They cannot be who they are and don't inspire greatness in Americans. Just the opposite. You can't pin down liberals on any issue. For a major party, they seem curiously uninterested in the great issues of our time.

It's time for the GOP to buried these Rat bastards. Finally after non-stop attacks of calling Bush every name in the book, they have decided to fight back (for how long we shall see). I have decided not to send them any more donation until they grow some balls and most of all SHUT down the southern border to Mexico. The Minutemen get my donations now.

The President is a busy man. I'd say the President needs the American people to give the Democrats hell. He can't be expected to fight this war all by himself. Every time some commie opens his mouth, some citizen ought to just walk up and deck the SOB. Everywhere, every time.

If I still lived in the 'Burgh, the PTR would be the only newspaper I'd pay good money to read.

good pull quote:

"Under the Islamic jihad system, it is critical to not retreat. Keep in mind that under that system Allah is with you when your enemies retreat and against you whenever your enemies succeed. If we pull out prematurely -- as suggested by many Democrats -- we further empower Islamofascists to believe that "holy war" is a just war, further inciting terrorists in Iraq and around the world."

MSM, Dems & the left cannot be so ill-informed as to not grasp this basic truth. Therefore, it stands to reason they must be willing footsoldiers for the terrorists. They feel their common agenda is worth spilling our troops blood.
