Iraq - The True Debate Is Not About an Exit Strategy - Take the True Debate to the Dims (Vanity)
November 20, 2005 | Wuli

Take the debate to the Dims on our terms, it is not about a phony exit strategy, it is about why they so desperately want the terrorists and Al Queda to win in Iraq.

We know that the Democrats want an "exit strategy", they must be asked:

Why they are opposed to Democracy in Iraq.

Why they are opposed to protecting an infant Democracy in Iraq.

Why they are so desperate to give the insurgents and the terrorists a timetable, that only helps the enemy.

Why, at every juncture when Democracy improves in Iraq and when the success of the terrorists seems more desperate, do the Democrats more desperately seek an "exit strategy".

Why, when the vast majority of the Iraq people oppose the insurgents, when the insurgents and the terrorists are at war against the majority of the people of Iraq, do the Democrats wrongly, knowingly in error refer to Iraq as a quagmire, when it is only a quagmire for the insurgents.

Why, do the Democrats have but one policy objective in Iraq, our exit, when the only possible means of ultimate victory for the insurgents and the terrorists is our exit, and the Democrats know it.

Why do the Democrats want an unstable Iraq.

Why do the Democrats want chaos in Iraq.

We are on the offensive here now, because the Democrats can only betray their Kerry-like appeasement and cowardice in the answers to these questions.

Why do Democrats want America to LOSE this war against the Salafists?

The simple answer is that they need to associate in the minds of Americans a failure in Iraq with a failure of Republican leadership. That is their strategy for returning to power in Washington. The possibility of civil war and hundreds of thousands of deaths in Iraq is not part of their calculus. Those live don't matter. In fact the deaths of America's fighting men and women don't either - they want higher numbers because if furthers their cause.

For any of you who can post at DemocraticUnderground and not look like a troll you should pose the following question:

Would it be good for America if we lost the war in Iraq?

The answer you would get would be YES IT WOULD. That is the mentality of the people we are fighting with for control of our country, our culture and, in fact, our civilization.

The answer to all of those questions is that the Rats, like the left worldwide, have one overriding theme, and that theme is to oppose US interests wherever they are around the globe. Clearly a victory over terrorism -- a part of which would be a stable, democratic pro-US Iraq -- would be good for the US (and by extension for Bush), so it is important to them that we fail. They hate the United States. I wish the GOP would stress that theme more -- anytime the US is involved in a dispute with another country, the Rats take the side of the other country.

democracy and socia;ism do not work together, the dimbulbs are on a mission, and if they have any say in how another country will grow, it will grow as socialist

Mort Kondrake said, "The democrats are willing to lose the war in Iraq, rather than give Bush the political points for a win."

I've said it before, and it bears repeating:

This attitude by the democrats is not only selfish and partisan, it's arrogant, and ANTI-AMERICAN.
