hey..... hey....
They should have arrested him upon entering the country. Would anyone have noticed?
And today, every football stadium across the country will play that damn annoying song of his, thinking people like to hear it.
"Young girl, get out of my mind,
My love for you is way out of line"
Young Girl - Gary Glitter 1968
..I wonder how long he's been doing this......
That was sung by Gary Puckett & The Union Gap.
What song is that?
...hey...heeeeeeyyyyy...
...which was, incidentally, what Gary was saying when the cops grabbed him.
It's called Rock n Roll part II, or something like that. Horrible. I've heard he intended it to be bad. He succeeded.
Rock N' Roll part 2
"Rock 'n' Roll Part Two", also known (after its sole lyric) as "The 'Hey' Song".
For awhile, they were playing that song at the college hockey games that I attend whenever the home team would score a goal. I learned to hate that song pretty quick.
Thanks. I don't have any idea what song that is. When do they play it?
Leni
After a home team score usually. There is a wealth of good, new music out there, I can't understand why they cling to this ill-conceived relic.
They like to play it at hockey games when somebody scores a goal, and other sports have picked up on it, too. It's a stupid fad that's over 10 years old that just needs to go! Break-dancing was in and out in a summer. We should be so lucky with the "Hey!" song.
I guess I don't pay that close attention to game I am watching, then. I still can't come up with the song in my mind.
You're lucky, I'm still trying to forget.
I am still at loss to come up with it in my mind. I guess that's a good thing????
