When a reporter for the local paper interviewed [Carter], he told her that he considered his "finest achievement" was getting the Nobel Peace Prize.

Funny. Most people would consider having become President of the US their finest achievement in life.

In Carter's case, he 'attained' the Presidency. But, as President, his 'achievements' were nil.

After his abysmal term as President, any 'achievement' would have been 'finer'.
