To: Alas Babylon!

You would think that the Liberal Biased Tim Russert would have a Geriatric Doctor specializing in Alzheimer's Disease on instead of Immunity Specialists considering that Congressman Murtha's behavior recently smacks of symptoms of this Disease. I would question anything the fellow says anymore, and I believe the ethics Problems are more of a reason why he and the Dems are going way overboard with his so called heroic background. They figure they can kill two birds with one stone. He can trash the War,President Bush, and our Military, and be protected from the brewing Scandal by hiding behind his Military Background. It is obvious that the Dems had this plan brewing for a bit, and he was given his Marching orders by Nancy Lugosi. His brain is not quite up to it, and he sounded silly and confused, repetitious, rambling, and sickeningly egotistical. Braggadocio about all his medals was like John Kerry's entire campaign redux.

Except that ALL politicians, soon after their elections, suffer from a common malady called SMS (Short Memory Syndrome). As soon as they get the Washington, they begin forgetting why their base sent them there.

It isn't something the Washington air or the Washington water. No, it is something else: the politicians find bunches of leafy green stuffing their pockets, and that leafy green exacerbate the SMS and why their base sent them to Washington. And, as a side effect, many of them even have SMS when they are asked where those bunches of leafy green stuffing their pockets came from and why their pockets are filled with buches of leafy green.

It is a sad malady that has affected politicians for decades. There seems to be no cure. Those who have shortened political careers, rather than spending decades in Washington, seem to have lesser symptoms.

There is a related complication of SMS, too. It is SMSMS (Short Memory/Selective Memory Syndrome). It affects most politicians who make politics their career.

We need to be appreciative of these brave souls. They know the Syndrome happens. Yet, they are willing to sacrifice, get elected, and go to Washington. It brings a tear to ones eye know their sacrifice. Imagine -- just imagine having to live with bunches of leafy green stuffing your pockets while you know you are degenerating with the complications of SMS and SMSMS. [Handing a tissue to the reader of this sad tale of woe about our brave legislators.]

To: samantha; All
morning samantha.
This is not the first time a former left wing war hero who is experiencing present or past dubious business dealings made public went over to the dark side. We have one in our own party and his name is McCain.
Murtha is just another in a long list of dems who think they are above the law and all omnipotent.
We even had a President like that as memory serves me, who was it, ohh yeahh President Bubba.

"... obvious that the Dems had this plan brewing for a bit ..."

And not just the House dems. IIRC the moment the vote was taken, Kerry sent out an email whining about the repubs smearing Murtha.
