It is congress critters like this who convince me we need term limits. The founding fathers never intended for the Congress to become a career, it was designed to give a lot of different people the opportunity to serve a couple of years and then go back to their other life and get some fresh blood. We the voters should make sure no one makes a career out of it. It is our responsibility and duty to vote the dinasours out before they become a problem and a liability. Unfortunately I don't see how we can accomplish that anymore without term limits.
In the old days a lot of our MPs were business men or top lawyers that bought that experience to the house hence the historic late sessions. Nowadays however many are now career politicians.
Yes our founding fathers are rolling over in their graves when they see the likes of Robert Byrd and Kennedy in the Senate and People like Murtha in the House that don't even know what a regular job is. They have no idea how real people live because they have not lived the life of real people in several decades. Time to send their a$$es packing.
