Exactly....and like I speculated....they are using him because they know that for the GOP and Justice Dept. to make a HUGH deal over any shady dealings, NOW....

Would give them the chance, to pull another "Joe Wilson"...by claiming that the White House is trying to pay back Murtha for speaking negatively about the war...and you can't do that to a veteran will purple hearts...blah, blah..

thus, putting the White House in the spot of being the bullies....instead of Murtha being a liar and a cheat...like Wilson.

I even heard on the news this morning that Bush made a statement in China, praising Murtha...SEE!!!!!

They get away with it everytime...because people like Fat Timmy will NEVER point out when they lie....and will never ask him about the investigations that may be going on.

This man is the ranking minority member of the House Defense Committee, and he can't form a coherent sentence. He could only throw out some tired, two-year old cliches and cheap shots. He clearly doesn't know his subject matter. I was frankly amazed at his mediocre performance.

I haven't been listening--can't stand the Sunday talk shows--so I really appreciate the reporting by everyone on this thread.

I'm amazed to hear that Murtha's so ineffective. Of course, there's something seriously wrong when a Marine becomes a Democrat. It requires a rejection of every principle Marines hold dear. Something had to go seriously wrong with his thought process.

I have to admit, every time I see Mitchell I cringe. He represents the worst of what we have to fight against. He's a fraud and it upsets me because he's one of the few Democrats who comes across as convincing.

I loved that quote as well. As I loved his wife's comment on Kerry wanting to fight a "sensitive war" the fact that she scorned that comment was even more powerful being that it was a women saying it. And dare I say without sounding sexist or derogatory to my sex an attractive one at that

I just watched the whole Murtha interview.
Without an opposing side the whole thing was a joke! It was like the ultimate rat--Murtha being interviewed by Nancy Pelosi, who gained a lot of weight and had a face that moved.

Murtah says "we have done everything we can do in Iraq"--Who the hell does this guy think he is!! He doesn't have a clue!
His biggest argument to getting us out of Iraq(besides we have become the enemy ) is a "gut" feeling he has from interviewing a few troops that things are going wrong. What a complete asshole!!My gut feeling tells me that Samantha was right this guy is an Alzheimer's candidate!!

From my standpoint all this points to the need for term limits. I know there are those who don't like the idea, but this is what you get when these bozos stay in office forever. You get Pelosis, Bidens, MaCcains, Byrds, and this a-hole. Just to name a few.

The only thing Murtha got right in the entire interview was that we should not be fighting a PC war. But then we already knew that.

If I remember correctly he was the only one in MSM that admitted the Cheney beat Edwards in the Vice Presential debate. Was he not the one that said that the VP did everything apart from ask Edwards for his car keys.

grand humanitarian Chavez....

I had an online conversation with a Venzuelan Blogger. He told me how awful Venzuela has become under Chavez. But didn't Carter validate that bogus election?

What's with Carter? I know he's a Moonbat, but he's on somebody's payroll. I think they all are and the Clintons, what, eight years the entire planet has this oil-for-palaces thing going and no one in America knew a thing about it?

Sorry folks, I must put on the tin foil hat. Though I love Rush, I think his "liberal" mantra is only the tip of the iceberg. We need to start following the money.

I do not think they can use that line of attack and have it stick

Oh it will stick because it is being fashioned to work for them either way. If the President starts pulling troops out next year they will simply say that it is because of their (Dems) efforts, not because suddenly the war is going well (in the eyes of the American people). If the troops aren't pulled out and continue to sustain casualties, they are now on record as having put forward a plan, but the President chose not to listen. In their minds, this is a no lose plan for them next year. Whether it works or not, only time will tell. But my point is that it is a well orchestrated plan by the Democrat Party, and was not just a series of conscience driven initiatives.

You were wondering why Fat Timmy would have on a panel re: the Avian Flu...

Well, from what I have seen, he is trying to make it seem as if President Bush is late to worry about it.,..and hasn't done enough to prepare for it...

IOW...another chance to smear Bush...but, Julie Gerberding pretty much has smacked him down, whenever he has used "inaccurate" quotes...LOL

Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou. Here I try to pay attention to EVERYTHING and this is going on right under my nose.

Meanwhile us voters who elected these people, us idiots out here in la-la land who carry this country on our backs, got to wait to 2006 to get these traitors out of office.

Dick Cheney would definitely be my choice in 2008 if only his health would permit him to serve. But we've been very lucky to have him as VP for two terms.

A lot of us were really wishing Rush had been on last week for all of the stuff re: the Senate voting on the Warner and Levin amendments...

and then the Murtha thing. But, now I am thinking that since Rush wasn't able to pontificate about them when they were going on....he will really be loaded with opinion and some scathing quotes to play...I can't wait.
