The propagators of the Big Lie against President Bush are trying to delegitimize not only him but also all the progress that has been made as a result of Iraq, progress both toward freedom for Middle Easterners and toward a Middle East that will no longer threaten the United States. And the worst of the propagators, of course, are the MSM. Today I heard the ABC radio blurb at the top of the hour. It began: "Last week, Vice President Cheney called those who question the motives for the Iraq war, liars and corrupt. Today he had this to say...." Then they went on to play a short bit of Cheney's speech today where he said that disagreement and discussion are "at the heart of democracy." That was it. End of story. No context about what Cheney was actually saying, they just made it look like he had essentially withdrawn his prior opinion. Now, I know it was just the stupid radio news blurb, but still -- that's all a lot of folks in this country will get in the way of news all day. And that's the impression ABC wanted to leave them with.
Shameless. They are all utterly shameless traitors.
