Fitzgerald's "investigation" should have taken about three phone calls to find out that Plame was not "covert", as defined in the Intelligence Identities act, and therefore there could have been no crime committed in the "leaking" of her name. Case closed.

But two years and millions of taxpayer-dollars later Fitz finally nails somebody for tripping himself up in his testimony about a crime that was never committed. Congratulations, Fitz, you scumbag. You GOT somebody and destroyed a man's career.

And now, here we go again - - Fitzgerald obviously loves the power and the celebrity, he loves commanding a big staff of peon lawyers, and he doesn't want his gravy train to come to an end, ever. It's a disgrace.

My thought exactly. I've seen him several times with photographers and cameramen following his every move, and said to myself, he is really lapping this up. He likes it. That is not a good thing.
