Regarding Senator John Kerry's comments this morning (November 19, 2005) on Good Morning America's Weekend edition, where he said of President Bush and the War in Iraq, "What we need is a little more commander-in-chief, and a little less campaigner-in-chief,”...let's see, Mr. Kerry, President Bush took us to war in Iraq as the Commander in Chief. In the midst of that war, he defeated you in a presidential election where this very issue was the principle part of the deabte...and he defeated you with the largest voter turnout in the history of this country, by a clear majority. In that time and since, our military and diplomats, under his command and leadership, have:
No, Mr. Kerry, your lame attempts to paint this historical mission and tremendous victory in negative terms and throw that negativity on the very leader who had the foresight and the commitment, in the face of abject corrupt opposition abroad and here at home, do not "carry" (or should that be "Kerry") any weight of moral certitude whatsoever. These attempts by yourself and others to try and use your political position to influence us to snatch defeat out of the jaws of victory and, "cut and run", are nothing Moore than odorous political gas passing in the wind.
- Completed the fastest, most effective military advance in military history.
- Defeated the 4th or 5th largest military in the world in quick fashion.
- Freed 30 million people from abject tyranny.
- Deposed one of the most ruthless tyrants of the last fifty years, along with his Ba'athist party.
- Destroyed all attempts by the remaining Ba'athists and their terrorist allies to regain the upper hand, killing the tyrant's two sons and capturing him in the process.
- Secured the vast majority of the nation and handed sovereignty back to the Iraqi people on schedule.
- Held the 2nd largest, freest vote in Iraqi history to vote on their own interim government, in the face of and despite terrorist attempts to thwart and disrupt that process.
- Had the interim Iraqi government develop and introduce a republican constitution on schedule, in the face of and despite terrorist attempts to thwart and disrupt that process.
- Held the largest free vote in Iraqi history to approve the constitution that the interim government proposed, with even the Sunni minority now participating in that vote, in the face of and despite terrorist attempts to thwart and disrupt that process.
- Assisted the Iraqis themselves in putting the former tyrant on trial for his crimes.
- Are preparing for what will undoubtedly be the new largest vote in Iraqi history to elect their own government under their new constitution, again, in the face of and despite terrorist attempts to thwart and disrupt that process.
- Trained an Iraqi military that is now actively taking major support and lead roles in fighting for their own free nation against their terrorist enemies, losing many more of their own lives, and spilling more of their own blood in that process than our own soldiers.
You have well stated the narrow view. If you look just a little wider Bush has begun the transformation of the whole middle east.
The removal of the threat from Saddam allows Iraq to join the Gulf Cooperation Council and develop it further into a real challange for the Euros. The balance of economic power will shift southerly from Europe into Beruit and Dubai/UAE. Riyadh and Alkhobar may also grow as they trade the new wealth being produced in Jubail and the New Bashra.
"It's just the attack politics, and people are sick and tired of it," Kerry said.
John F`n Kerry said people are sick of attack
politics !!??
SO IT`S QUITE ALRIGHT TO SAY THE PRESIDENT LIED BUT IT`S
VERBOTEN TO DEFEND YOURSELF, ATTACK CUT AND RUN
YELLOWBELLIES ! ?
This from a guy who wounds himself, then writes himself up for purple hearts ! ?
Thanks. We all need to start to get our voices heard in all areas, politicians and media included. If we could organize it efficiently, we could do some serious damage to the Dims. I'll add your website to the bottom of the fax, if you'd like.
This narrow view, as you term it, was part of the larger, wider plan all along. It leads there...so, in reality, it is nothing more than the start of that plan, that desire, that hope for those tens of millions to be free.
We are NOT facing Democrats anymore... we are in a fight with socialist-appeasers for the fate of our nation.
"These attempts by yourself and others to try and use your political position to influence us to snatch defeat out of the jaws of victory and, "cut and run", are nothing Moore than orderous political gas passing in the wind."
Tell it like it is Jeff. Love the 'Moore' play on words. Add to that 'gas' that it is also, Traitorous and Cowardly, which is the defining smell of the DemocRat Party.
BTTT!!!!!!! Mr. Kerry is nothing but a no good S.O.B. and an a***hole.
From the creative and fertile mind of Boazo
True.. Hmmmm.. I'm hopeing for staying power..
A "flash on the pan" simply won't do..
As the democrats adjust to the situation.. and they are..
Its time for "additional" votes to be called for..
Republican leadership just might have "stumbled" on to the silver bullet..
Silver bullets won't kill a vampire but they PROVE that the vampire is a vampire..
Prove to WHOM.?... Answer: The Vampires FOOD..
The LAST thing a vampire wants is to be EXPOSED as a BLOOD SUCKER...
And parasitical predator..
Apparently the President of the United States, George W. Bush, is getting in the way of John French Kerry's continuous campaign for President that began in 2001?
God Bless our great troops!
Personally, I love the way Republicans lead.
As for Dem procreation, I have no comment. I don't even know how this graphic got here.
The Republicans have needed good P.R. since Ronald Reagan left office and since I can remember before he got to office.
The White House should have a similar graphic hanging behind Scott McClellan everytime he gives press conference. And when one of the MSM traitors starts complaining he can just turn to the list, point to an accomplishment and say, "'Nuff said. Next?"
The leftists and peaceniks, one and the same, now trumpet that we never found D, E, and F, so therefore Bush lied. The problem I have is that while we never found D, E, and F, we didn't even find A, B, and C.
We've only found somewhere around 1/3 (not sure of the latest numbers)of the weapons Saddam admitted he had. Where did they go? Does it not stand to reason that A, B, and C are stashed the same place that D, E, and F are?
Saddam surely didn't anticipate being captured in that spider hole, and I'm sure he had contingency plans to re-emerge after the U.S. and our allies had moved on. Would he come back to a country, weakened, and unarmed? I don't think so.
