To be fair, Hastert is hardly what anyone would consider photogenic in the first place. But, they always seem to make a silk purse out of that sow's rear end, Shrillary, so maybe you're right.

When there's an uproar about a doctored photo or blatant mis-quote, the public relations guy releases a statement saying that one of their anonymous editors made an honest mistake. AP and Reuters should make notation of who CHOSE the photos just as much as who took the photos. I'd say it's as important as citing who wrote the article but I've noticed AP and Reuters often leave that tag off.
