Just like that, huh?
Well, try again.
....I mean.NO! Don't!....
To: EsmeraldaA
Try again?
Okers.
;-)
There are water mains in Morristown that have been there since at least 1900.
There is a water shut off valvbe buried somewhere under the pavement not too far from the explosing manholes.
The local DPW has no idea where it is.

I guess it is not funny at all for the people affected.
On a weekend and been cold.
I am taking things more seriously...as we speak. :)

Okers.
So it may still be my fault?
Still, explosing manholes and electrical fires.
They have to shell out for repair and replacement.
Somebody will have ot take a cut in their kickbacks.

I know.
Morristown has, for years and dcades, been putting off repair and replacement of some infrastructure systems and subparts.
Not to mention the corruption, kickbacks, and outright "Duh" going on there.
So now the people that are suffering the effects of it pay for decades of mismanagement.
It will take a long time to change anything in there.

Damn.
To: EsmeraldaA
Yuppers.
Though she may have relatives in Morristown.
I do hope they fix this messup there soon.
On a side note, they now have incentive to actually fix the infrastructure.

You think it will happen? Fixing the infrastructure.
And of course we are sorry for Miss SG 1993.....
To: EsmeraldaA
No.
I think they'll do the cheapest quickest most slapdash patch they can do.
Heck, when you have corruption at the top in the governors office, the municipalities tend to emulate it.
And in NJ, corruption has been the name of the game for years.
When I lived in Vernon, they had a first rate road crew, and had first rate snow removal in winter.
Now, the roads aren't cared for as well as they had been, and winter plowing isn't done as well as it used to.
General malaise took over.
