"God bless Jean Schmidt. She shamed the dems before the whole world."

I saw a replay of the Dems yelling and screaming at Schmidt. It wasn't her opinion, it was a Marine's that she was reading. But the Dems hate to hear from people who disagree with them. They expect everyone to believe that the World conforms to their propaganda. They need to get out of their dreamworld. It's too dangerous to the country.

And Democrats totally ignored last night's CNN poll, which showed (I believe) 67% favoring pull-out.

Hush little darlings, don't you cry, things are going to work out, bye and bye.

A question: Do the guys in Iraq have internet accesss? Can they follow this and other debates "live"? I love Rush's Adopt-a-Soldier idea. I know that hearing Rush each day will pick up morale amongst our guys and gals.

_____

Yes they do! The majority of it is limited to cafes. But, my Brother pulled together a satellite uplink of their own. He and other can watch this and other programs on the net. You can follow Old Sarge and Kids in the Company over in the Canteen.

I saw that replay, too. I didn't see anything wrong in what she said--as you point out, she was simply quoting the Marine's opinion, and he didn't even necessarily call Murtha a coward: he was just making a declarative (and accurate) statement. But the Democrats have made a fine art out of misconstruing someone's words into a perceived offense and trying to profit from it politically.

And strangely I'm envisioning the 'old crazy stage' Nikola Tesla hooking electrodes up to the Dems.

I hate it when I'm awake for over 24 hours.

CNN (Communist News Network) is their base, too. Oh boy! Are the democrats going to hear the left wings weeping and gnashing of teeth after this one! LOL.

Goodness, lots of sick people. What are you all sick with? I'm getting worried.

For me, its just complications from seasonal allergies...some years I get bronchitis, some years I get "walking" pneumonia and some years I do pretty well with just a little cough and sore throat.

This was a "walking" pneumonia year....but I'm feeling much better!

"I'm not dead yet," for all of you Monty Python fans!

Well, at least it might keep them out of trouble. And for that matter, it would be productive. That would be nice for a change. BTW, take a nap.

CA MSM was all over R-Duke Cunningham. I certainly haven't seen them covering the Murtha/Pelosi/Janorski story.. at all, in fact.

"But the Democrats have made a fine art out of misconstruing someone's words into a perceived offense"

Exactly. All in an effort to shut up their opposition. Who cares what the Democrats think?

A democracy like ours is not going to tolerate perpetual war.

That is why we left Germany, Japan and Korea decades ago!

Part of winning a war is setting up stability, and if you do not see the need for it in Iraq and the greater good it could do in the long run in the region then you have blinders on.

If we allow the region to continue down the path it was going before the war there will be even a greater mess with much greater repercussions for the world. Whether you like it or not, the koran teaches its adherents perpetual war until the world is conquered, perpetual war is upon us, as a saint you of all people should be prepared.
