Congressman Murtha is a respected veteran and politician who has a record of supporting a strong America. So it is baffling that he is endorsing the policy positions of Michael Moore and the extreme liberal wing of the Democratic party. The eve of an historic democratic election in Iraq is not the time to surrender to the terrorists. After seeing his statement, we remain baffled -- nowhere does he explain how retreating from Iraq makes America safer.

The President was very clear, (Except to a lawyer)we will leave when after Iraq is free( that means that the people pick their leaders, have the right to remove them, and can do their own thing unless the hurt others)and able to stand on their own(no body is going to invade them), then, we have mission accomplished and we are gone.

It's hilarious how the Dems think that we're in trouble for supporting this war. I have a couple of politically moderate friends (registered GOP, but lukewarm towards Hillary, if you can believe it). Not only are they for the war, they're ready to attack EUROPE, CHINA, IRAN, and anyone else who gives us a hard time (and make them parts of the USA). And I thoguht I was evil... >:^)
