I am working in construction in Florida. To give you some idea what that is like... My sister lost her home last year in Hurricane Ivan and called me last month to gleefully report that she has acquired a contractor and is on his list to rebuild in 2007.

Sometimes I get to listen to Laura Ingram's sound bite contest, but today was a total news blackout. Our little mom and pop flooring company invoiced $70K today...

I remember back when the election for president and a lot of House and Senate seats was coming up for 2004. The first weeks, months, it seemed to us anxious conservatives that the party was going to be flattened with a steam iron.

A lot of us wrote/emailed the RNC directly and told them some things including how they had been set-up (for real) by the Clintonites and elites and affiliates of the DNC.

The tide turned. Slowly. But it did.

You won't believe me, but, I posted this reply last night on another thread, and even while doing so, kept thinking of all the times Pres Bush had "sucker-punched" the dims....

The Pubs and Rats must be deep in some kind of negotiations right now. The Rats went a bridge too far yesterday, and the path to retreat is now gone. I hope the Pubs force this vote down their throats and not accept some kind of worthless concessions.

I still don't have a stong feeling about out Pubs, due to the RINO traitors in the midsts.
