GOP Pulls Fast One... Tells Dems: Pull Troops Now? Okay, then let's vote!!!!! Tonight. 7 p.m. in House... Ultimate showdown...
"I don't know if I can take much of murtha's mouth, though. bleah."
Me either. Especially since he just called our military sub-standard!
BTW, I want to know if this jack-ass has been to WRMC every week or not. I have been there and not one time has this guy's name come up. I know I have not seen him, but that's just me. I'm going to ask next week and find out for sure.
Well.... They will vote to cut and run BEFORE they vote to stay the course. Sorry, you have to remember they want it both ways. ROFLOL
"tell her to read the "Cowards Run" letter again"
I just got here, could you point me to this letter?
Thanks
Ah. I loved that show. And the turkey episode was classic.
Ron Paul is an eccentric clown. He votes against the Medal of Freedom for the Pope, refuses to attend joint sessions of Congress for Ahmid Kharzai, and votes against budget cuts.
He's a silly excuse for a congressman.
Is there room for one more here?
Ruh--Roh....Did he say why Specter did that??
The Patriot Act is going to Sunset?
Where on earth have the Republicans been on these issues?? Sheesh. Silence is going to KILL us.
What about debate before voting?
Take me on?! This is cyberspace, silly, not the O.K. Corral.
Besides, there were others earlier in the thread who said this might possibly not be the best idea.
I don't object at all to standing up for the WOT, the troops and their Commander in Chief. But military strategy is best left in the hands of our able commanders and they are doing fine. The media and the Dems have pressed this 'exit strategy' demand, but it is irrelevant.
Also, we are not the only country that has armed forces in Iraq. It has been a Coalition from day one.
Hope I'm wrong :-) And, as I said before, if they do vote, look for the Dems to walk out en masse, as they did during the Impeachment vote in '98.
No kidding! How refreshing. :)
I'm glad they're fighting back. They owe it to the troops.
I laid down for a little snooze and wake to all this excitement!
I heard on CNN today, of all places, that only 6 Senators read the pre-war intelligence. It was in a reading room and only 6 signed to look at it.
Well, I have officially disobeyed her "orders." We'll see what happens. ;-)
I imagine the Democrats are trying to regroup and come up with yet another reason not to vote tonight.
Good points. But if it was the OK Corral I got your back.
Waxman is scum. I LOVE to see him get what he so justly deserves. My only question is whether or not he's wetting his pants?
Hey Jim when you get your house, get one of those ventless fireplaces. The gel that is used in them gives off 3,000 BTU, and they are just beautiful.
