First I've heard of this as well. My kind of dream story. Two minor injuries for American and Iraqi troops - 32 dead terrorists. Killed in a mosque, no less, from where they launched the ambush.
Of course, that will not stop the pessimist brigade from whining about how we never attack mosques...
Insurgents attacked US and Iraqi troops in western Iraq, triggering fire fights that left 32 insurgents dead, a US military statement said today. One US Marine and an Iraqi soldier suffered minor injuries during the attack, the US forces said. Most of the fighting took place around a mosque.
Sounds like we're winning! Also I don't think they're "winning hearts and minds" blowing up their fellow muslims going to prayers at their mosque. :-)
