All I can think of at this very second...is bombard your congresscritters...and the Senate with calls and e-mails...

I heard a guy on LI this morning that said he had been trying to get through to Murtha since yesterday's presser...no way...but, we can call all of the others...

I said earlier...I would contribute to send some military family members to Washington...

I saw that Bush has come out and said absolutely NO, we will not pull out the troops....so we can trust him to do his job....now, we have to do ours..

Which is to get the Americans to rise up and let the dems and RINOS know..that we aren't going to take it anymore...and we aren't going to let the deaths and injuries to our troops be in vane.

BTW...ya'll do know that if we pulled out now...all of those women and older people and young men with purple fingers would be dead in weeks, right? You understand that they would not be left alive...

Exactly right! I care immensely about our military, but I also care about those Iraqis. They risked death to go to the polls both times and they are about to do it again. And our congresscritters message to them is "hurry up or we might abandon you!" How utterly dismissive of THEIR sacrifice.

I hear ya about what happens in pullouts! It still amazes me how many so called informed Americans (read aging Hippy Leftists) DO NOT know what happened in Cambodia & Laos when we pulled out of VietNam. Talk about re writing history!

Contacting my congresscritters is less than useless.....I live in San Francisco! Will try to bombard Other congresscritters who may actually have open minds (are there any??)
