He was on Fox about an hour ago.....responding to Murtha....he said Murtha had been against the war since last year(?) and his opinion is important because Murtha is an "important" person.
John Kerry has released a statement.....he won't stand by and let Murtha be "swiftboated". More to come from Kerry, according to Fox.
So Fred didn't agree with Murtha, but was concerned that someone of "Murtha's Character" said this, so he would be listened too?
Leave it to Kerry to try to get attention on Murtha's coattails! I don't know about "swiftboating" him, but other Veterans in positions of power need to take Murtha on head on!
Heads up. He says he will be on the floor of the Senate later. As for being swiftboated (how I love it that that is now a word) all the White House has said is that they think Murtha is wrong.
