I received an email message by way of an email loop I am on. There was a lady who was looking for local ideas of how and where to spend Thanksgiving day with her two pre-teen children and husband- because she said she didn't want to "cook all day and do 4 hours of dishes".
I was taken aback- what about the kids- the smell of Thanksgiving- making people say what they are Thankful for at the dinner table.... what about tradition- family....Oh I feel sorry for them all. I started my Thanksgiving prep today.. I am really looking forward to Thanksgiving. Thanks for the thread!
I know, it makes me screaming mad to hear these narcissistic monsters that bear kids and place them in some tiny box, like a new pair of shoes.. I can't tell you how often I hear at school board and PTA meeting that the parents are proud to tell me that they never cook.. Astonishing.. yuck.. :(
