An amber alert has just been issued regarding a missing child in Hialeah. The Hialeah Police Department and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement are looking for Dialys Ramos, a white female, 17 years old, 5 feet 02 inches tall, 105 pounds, auburn hair, and green eyes.
The child was last seen at the 500th block of East 35th St. and is believed to be in danger. Authorities say the child was likely abducted by Robert Laird, a black male, 39 years old, 5 feet 11 inches tall, 180 pounds, black hair, and brown eyes.
They may be traveling in an orange Mazda 6, Florida tag number P233GW. The suspect is a convicted sex offender and may possibly be armed.
If you have any information on the whereabouts of Dialys Ramos please contact the Hialeah Police Department at 305-687-2525 or 911.

Here, in Sarasota County, we just got an Amber Alert about this on our Comcast.
Somebody get Bill O'Reilly. He's bringing so much attention to this and the judges who continue to bring down light sentences. If we cannot protect our children, what good are we?? Prayers for this young lady.

Miami-Dade County police say this evil man left behind a note at his home saying he planned to commit suicide. God help this poor child!!

I realise this is nither 'here nor there' but am I the only one whe thought the consistant reference to a 17 year old as 'child' was....strange?
Let's hold the happy ending until we know the girl was not assaulted. It sounds to me that this guy went for one last attack before killing himself. He's dead, but her road to recovery may have just begun.
