Lieberman has his GOOD moments. Too bad his ambition comprmised him when he agreed to run with algore. The guy lost more than the election -- he lost respect.

Our thanks and prayers for your son. Please tell him how grateful we are for his strength, honor, and dedication. We couldn't exist without good men like him.

"Confronted about the National Intelligence Estimate (that included dissenting information) he saw before the war vote, he claimed he didn't have time to read it." He had more important things to do? I'd like to know what that was.

There are a couple of Democrats who are Americans first and politicians second. Zell Miller is one and Joe Lieberman is another. The rest are demonrats who aren't worthy of their citizenship.

It is time for some serious shock and awe on the enemies within. I wonder why President Bush has waited so long to open up on them, but it looks like they're all in the trap now. Waiting much longer and allowing their BS to go unchallenged is hurting our troops and giving aid and comfort to the enemy, both here and abroad. Even the local Rush station here is repeating the "mislead the American people" lines. The BS is starting to dry and get crusty and will be harder to remove from the average American's consciousness.

Interesting story. A friend at work was at (I believe) a wedding last saturday, or some other gathering, and he met a guy who worked at the CIA. Turns out the guy was responsible for THE NIE briefing from October 2002.

The guy is very upset. He says not only was the dissenting information easy to find in the document, but he PERSONALLY VERBALLY BRIEFED Jay Rockefeller before the vote on the contents, INCLUDING the dissenting information.

In other words, there is no way that Jay Rockefeller didn't have "all the facts" before making his speech.

I didn't know this until after I wrote my column -- and I haven't been able to get the guy's name to confirm the information (my friend didn't know him, and can't remember the name).

I really don't think Jimmy Carter ever was a real man. I think more of him as a plucked chicken type who attracts killer rabbits. I'm from Georgia and glad I never voted for the jerk, his brother Billy would've done a better job in the White House I believe, it's too bad they couldn't trust Jimmy with the Gas Station
