Not only US...but a whole lot of European and Asian countries as well....but, you wouldn't get them to admit it...except maybe England.

It has become abundantly clear that neither party in the Senate can be entrusted with the security of our nation.

Petty politics, blind ambition, pandering, and reciprocal back-scratching constitute daily business in "the world's greatest deliberative body."

The House isn't too far behind, with the recent stunt by the Soros-backed "Republican-moderates."

The good news is--We hired 'em, we can fire 'em.

Until the next election rolls around, I encourage all Freepers to write/call their elected representatives and express their displeasure. I've reached the point where I send my useless Pubbie senator a daily nasty-gram.

Also, all fund-raising correspondence I receive goes straight into the circular file; and I'm extremely rude to anyone who calls on behalf of the Republican Party and asks for my money.

"We bust our asses for three elections to get a majority and this is what we get."

I am beyond discouraged by what's happening not only in the Senate, but now in the House. We're missing the Hammer's leadership there. We own the White House, Senate and House and we can't do jack sh&t except spend more money.

Actually, I believe it is time for conservatives across America to abandon the Republican Party. America is in mortal danger. This is not Vietnam, where we can pack our bags and go home and chances are the Viet Cong would not come after us. I predicted 911, since any moron with half a brain could see it coming. With each succeeding move Bin Laden and company began more emboldened that the USA would do nothing if he took down the WTC, the Capital building and the Pentagon. And...he would have been right on the money if the Democrat Party was in power. Now, all he has to do is let the traitors in the Democrat and Republican Parties do his dirty work for him. Problem is, it's the American people that are fools. But, they too, will soon learn what defeat tastes like , and it won't be pretty. Death and terror are coming to America, thanks to our politicians and a weak and unknowing American people. I believe that the only way this country can be saved is if we create a massive political revolution that gives the American people a clear chioce in 2006 and 2008. We can no longer depend on the two major political parties. They have gone over to the enemay that is hell bent on destroying America and all who live in it. Go figure!!!

Those are all good steps and I second their use. I pretty much do the same thing, especially when I receive any contact about funding the RNC and such. One these folks become intoxicated by the power of being in Congress, they have only one thing on their minds. Staying forever.

"Death and terror are coming to America, thanks to our politicians and a weak and unknowing American people."

I agree and I also feel much the same way as you do. I certainly am not motivated right now to keep supporting the RINO party. Maybe something will happen before the next election to motivate me to get out and vote.

At least McCain and Graham didn't vote to stab Bush in the back yesterday, Allen did.

I am in the same boat. When is a Senator, any Senator or any House member, also going to rise and tell the American people they are playing with fire. Not one, I repeat, not one has done it. Yet, my friend, I can assure you that thousands of American women will be raped, thousands of American babies will be slaughtered, and thousands of just plain Americans will be beheaded or murdered for the kicks and fantasies of our mortal enemy. May God help these United States, neither our politicians or the American people will help themselves!!! I cannot believe this is happening. But great societies have gone down before by their own hand, so it is possible the USA is about to commit Hari Kari!!!

I must have missed that, can you describe what happened. In the past, I supported Allen (when I lived in VA), but now have growing concerns about him. When he was running for the Senate, I attended a fund-raiser held at a large estate in eastern VA ($100 and up to get in, $1000 to have a drink with him). I finally had a chance to shake his hand and told him I hoped he kicked Robb's ass. I waited for him to smile and roger my sentiment. Instead, he looked shocked I would say such a thing.

Give that terrorists may soon obtain WMDs, they could well inflict a mortal wound on the US. Look at the costs of the Katrina mess. Then imagine what would happen if a major city is incinerated or a plague is loosed on the US. Consider what this would do to our complex society, our financial markets, our lean-just-in-time distribution system. And this is indeed a real prospect. Even so, Senators and congressmen of both political strips fiddle and pontificate trying to make political points.

Mr. President, for once, just once, in your tour of duty as the leader of the free world PLEASE USE YOUR VETO POWER.

Thanks, I did see a piece on this last night on the Hume show. Warner and Frist and the rest parading around claiming they did something useful instead of undercutting our troops and our national security. Allen missed the boat on this one for sure.

Maybe he's trying for the Guiness Book of Records for fewest exercises of the veto = 0. He's sinking fast and he really needs to attack and attack again his enemies.

Forget Allen. It's time to start zeroing in on somebody with enough b@lls to say what he means and mean what he says.

Go Coburn! Go Pence!

Bump to your sentiment of no RINOs. But what to do with the ones we've got. We need a new "1994" revolution. Where is the next Newt Gingrich?

Lindsey Graham is an opportunist of the first order. He always seems to be in the Democrats back pocket.
