I have always felt Iraq had WMD's ,what I do not under is why the administration keeps saying we were wrong ,there was no weapons .It does not make sense.

I think that it was a huge mistake making a blanket statement that the intelligence was wrong. Iraq definitely had WMD - that is a certainty since they were used against the Kurds. The question is were they hidden or were they destroyed. Since Iraq was not cooperating with UN weapon inspectors, the latter is not likely.

1.77 metric tons of enriched uranium

1,500 gallons of chemical weapons agents

Chemical warheads containing cyclosarin (a nerve agent five times more deadly than sarin gas)

Over 1,000 radioactive materials in powdered form meant for dispersal over populated areas

No it does not make sense I agree. The Bomb in My Garden by an Iraqi scientist. (centrifuge parts)

Is this amount of WMD capable weapons "verified" to have been recovered in Iraq to date not life threatening? I don't think so! Why the silence? Why do we have to wait for WMDs to be built; and should logic dictate the importance of finding said mass weapons of mass destruction in their early stages of gathering before construction; and most importantly before their deadly use?

The White House is its' own worst enemy in getting out the Facts and Keeping the Public Informed. This inaction allows for the deception of the public through the MSM which gives fodder to political assassins with their swords of rhetoric sharpened to the point of causing great harm in public opinion to the President, Cheney and Rice aka our Administration.

Everyone has something to gain here on Both sides, as most voted for the war in Iraq on more than just the discovery of WMD's. The Dems look bad flip flopping around and they seem uncomfortable back tracking constantly. Jay Rockefeller has a lot of esplainin' to do, Lucy.

Now, Mother Cindy will head over the pond on her First European Tour. As soon as she steps on another's soil and spreads her crazed rhetoric; we should request she not be allowed back in this country. She will be aiding the enemy and the enemy within.

If they existed, the only reason for the President to say there were none would be to collect them all first before all the insurgents came in to get some themselves.

Outside of that, it makes no sense, we know they had all kinds of chemical drums and other stuff in the very least.

Maybe the President is also giving all the Democrats all the rope they need to hang themselves.

What happens if in the last year of his administration they find and document a bunch of WMD?
How would that effect the Democrat party and their votes for President in 2008 and everything else?
IMO, that would render the Democrat party powerless for a good 4 decades at least.
