Washington Post Assistant Managing Editor Bob Woodward testified under oath Monday in the CIA leak case that a senior administration official told him about CIA operative Valerie Plame and her position at the agency nearly a month before her identity was disclosed . . .

Thanks again for another good summary
I believe Woodward has been warning publicly that there is no "there" there in this investigation.
He has been sitting on info all during this investigation that shows that it's a sham.
Meanwhile, his paper didn't listen to him and ran with the so-called scandal (the Editor and Pinkus).
Now Woodward's talking because his source released him. He is now saying I told you so to the people he works with. This is another great example of the disintegration going on in the MSM. Very sweet.
Could be that Russert lied. Several of us noted he looked uneasy the day of the indictment.
Regardless, I feel all of this is bullhockey upon bullhockey upon bullhockey...important mind you...but all so ridiculously grade school...I smell Hill and Bill, somewhere, trying to cover something big, but they just can't mask the smell.
We've got the UN trying to buy Oil for Food,
WAS someone trying to buy dessert.. Yellow Cake?
If so, was a middleman helping to negotiate a covert deal?
Perhaps to nuke Iraq? Two birds with one stone because no one ever took care of business properly in eight years and W hollered, "Put up or shut up"?
Just what was The Burgler stuffing in his pants?
Do you really think that Scooter Libby is stupid enough to go in an dperjure himself while turning over his own notes that contradict his statements? Or is it more likely, in that case, that it was a memory lapse?
Fitzgerald knows the answer to that, too, but he indicted Libby anyway.
Thanx...
I know Libby wasn't indicted for leaking (though the indictment counts are set-up to take that step).
Woodward's testimony does lend credence to the fact that the media knew about Plame.
Woodward's testimony may help shoot holes(though I doubt it) in the indictment counts, where it says Libby lied when he said heard that the media knew about Plame during conversations with Miller,Russert and Cooper.
As for Libby, his trial will be all "he said\she said".
I'm hoping Novak gets to spill everything he knows.
Go to Drudge and read linked article from Pincus.
He sounds like a backpeddaling -lying creep.
The "official" is not Libby
Seems like Prosecutor was not so Johnny on the spot after all. With all this carp you would think msm would be out in full force reporting this, but heck no, they don't want the TRUTH to be known by stupid main stream americans,
Pinkus is lying, and Pinkus knows that Woodward knows that Pinkus knows he's a liar.
If the Dimmycraps taught us anything, it's the aret of parsing. Note that he didn't say which administration. And remember, a Clintonite controlled the CIA.
If she wasn't covert, Woodward knows there would be no point in trying to finger Rove or Cheney.
You are probably right.
Regardless of the wording of the indictment, Fitzgerald has stated publicly that Plame was not known to reporters except as a result of Libbey. We now know that this is not true. The defense is hardly warmed up.
"Regardless, I feel all of this is bullhockey upon bullhockey upon bullhockey...important mind you...but all so ridiculously grade school...I smell Hill and Bill, somewhere, trying to cover something big, but they just can't mask the smell."
Yeah. And I'll bet Teddy boy is right in there tellin' em both what to do next.
Wopuldn't surprise me.
I'm not finding where it shows that he and Wilson talked.
