"In Iraq there's a lot of anger and fury at Zarqawi, even among the Iraqi resistance forces who are fighting the Americans. They say that Zarqawi is polluting and defaming their struggle by terrorist attacks, which are just brutal and bloodletting, and giving them a bad name."

Al Qaeda is really screwing up.

And just as we are about to win a lasting victory, our fine terrorist loving liberals want us to withdraw from Iraq to allow a terrorist resurgence.

AFTER years of al-Qaeda terror attacks in which thousands have been killed, many of them Muslims - the people they wish to recruit - voices of dissent are starting to be heard in the Middle East.

And I note that these "voices of dissent" were not present when it was westerners getting slaughtered by al Qaeda attacks.

Once al Qaeda goes back to just killing Americans and Europeans with only occasional Muslim/Arab kills, these "voices of dissent" will fade away as quickly as they've been raised.

"...even the prospect of one of Osama bin Laden's most feared cohorts, Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, being handed over is being discussed."

So they know where he is. "Fascinating."

"On the TV, on the radio, everyone is condemning the attacks in the strongest terms, including the Muslim Brotherhood, to show their solidarity with the rest of the population."

Hmmmm. The MB wanted to overthrow Syria. In retrospect, MB did not kill civilians. They did kill despots and tyrants. Oh well, better the enemy that you know; and all that.

One shouldn't expect any nation to stop living for things that don't affect them, what ever the atrocity. I know I don't.

More symbolic gestures would be nice, of course...

Terrorist analyst on FOX News said "the people of the street" in Jordan still think it is OK for terrorists to kill non muslims.

This is why Islam needs to be eradicated. It is not, never has been, and never will be, anything but a cult of death demanding submission to their false god.

Let me guess... if only Christians and Jews were killed, it would have been ok!

our fine terrorist loving liberals want us to withdraw from Iraq to allow a terrorist resurgence.

You have to wonder who is paying them. They wouildn't betray their own country for free. Just as the senate today proved they are on SOMEONE'S payroll.

Until now al-Qaeda has had some success.

I don't believe they're upset at terrorism. They're upset Zarqawi let his "friendly fire" take out too many Muzzies while missing the Crusaders entirely.

Make no mistake. Killing us Americans is the "success" italicized above, from the article.

I tend to agree. When one assesses the progress that has been made since the 8th century in reforming/enlightening Islam (of course, who has tried?) there is little reason for optimism. It is exceedingly difficult for Muslims to reform themselves, for how can the brainwashed enlighten the brainwashed?

Where is CAIR? When pressed many Muslims mutter something about "freedom fighters."

The dirty little secret (is it still a secret?) is that most Muslims take inward satisfaction at terrorist acts, particularly those directed at the west, and most particularly, those directed at America and Americans. How can we forget how, in the "Arab Street," they danced and trilled their tongues on 9/11?
