It does seem high. Only two of my son's Jewish friends even had bar mitzvahs. Perhaps they meant 57% go for the Holy Days. It has to be at least that many.
You came on this thread with one sided anti Israel pro Arab views and now somehow claim that it is all the result of your bad experience with some guide that your friends found for you?
The Israel and the so Arab "territories" you describe have no resemblance to reality.
Maybe that journey you took to that alternate universe was the fault of the only guide in Israel who doesn't speak fluent English. If you could take three steps in any direction and did not encounter an Israel pretty fluent in English, you were not in Israel.
Still I would assume YOUR English is good enough to have been able to read all the signs in English leading to both the Wall and the Church and almost everywere else.
Excuse the typos. I should edit before I post.
That's because there is no history or daily threat of Israeli suicide bombers blowing up Pali civilians. Now grow up.
So now members of Neturei Karta are your "best friends"?
Where do you hang out? Anti-Israel demonstrations? Strip joints?
I think you missed my point. As a tourist, I was safer away from the Israelis who are targets and need to be armed. It appears both Israel and Palestine have very little actual crime, with the murder rate (almost wholly terrorist attacks) in Israel much lower than most American cities.
Hopefully not in the background?
Yes, it is. Perhaps your sources are just wrong.
Both the targets and the bad guys?
Can't be the Arabs are the bad guys, you make that clear in #36. The Arabs are the victims and (now according to you) the threat.
You seem sort of confused. Maybe it wasn't the guide.
With each post you are making a bigger fool of yourself.
Oh, now I've done it. Your friend above will consider this another bigoted Zionist post and Jihad recruitment will increase.
"Perhaps they remember the Irgun and feel some responsibility."
Responsibility? That would be hubris. No grateful.
Learn some history. Rabin and his political party were the ones who acted shamefully.
"One of Rabin's proudest military moments came on June 22, 1948. Menachem Begin's Irgun, another Israeli military group, was in the midst of negotiating a pact with David Ben-Gurion under which Irgun would join the new Israeli Defense Force. Meanwhile, the Irgun had loaded a ship, the Altalena, with weapons and Jewish fighters (many of them Holocaust survivors) to join the IDF. Ben-Gurion ordered that the Altalena be fired upon. Rabin carried out his orders to the letter. Later, Rabin bragged how he had "bumped them off on the deck of the burning ship and while they were trying to swim to safety." Sixteen Jews were killed, many shot while swimming to shore. "

This is simply not true. From the massacres at Deir Yasin and Qibya (both where women and children were killed in their houses, the latter so brutally cold blooded that the US suspended diplomatic relations with Israel), to the war crime at Shatila, there are plenty of examples of why the Palestinians should fear the Israelis. The Zionist "Irgun" and "Stern" literally taught terrorism to the Palestinians.
Any culture that produces young men who would run over a young woman with a bulldozer is not worth supporting.
When we went through the checkpoints the young IDF officers were professional and pleasant but the Muslim guides with us genuinely feared them. All the officers actually did was check whether we were wearing seatbelts but when one has a machine gun and the other a cell phone, it's understandable to be nervous.
I have a hunch that "bigoted zionist posts" on FR are not the reason you are a lying Arab propagandist.
So again you admit the Israelis were acting well and the Arabs were exaggerating?
Cops have machine guns and cell phones at the entrance of every NYC tunnel and many other places.
Do you know why?
Hint- they are not afraid of Israelis.
"Any culture that produces young men who would run over a young woman with a bulldozer is not worth supporting."
Ah, the 'innocent' Rachel.
any culture that urges young woman to put themselves in danger of getting accidentally run over by a bulldozer must be the same caring culture that sends fifteeen year old boys on weapons smuggling and suicide missions.

And here's a great one on the only Rachel who was not innocent.

No. The Rabin story is history.
Chamish is a conspiracy theorist of the worst tripe.
He is also a Holocaust revisionist. Interesting that you quote him. Are you a Holocaust Revisionist too?
Any facts you don't like are lies. Predictably, you degenerate to insults and baiting. I know your history, you're especially good at vile insults to women. I look forward to meeting you some day.
