So how is it that we do not do the same for ourselves or the churches we belong to.
Jesus said to the Pharisees of his day and ours: you say we see and therefore your sin remains.
And Paul says For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep (Dead prematurely)For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged
And then Peter said For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?
The Obey not is not the early church in the days of the aposltes it is the latter day church in which we live that obey not the words of Christ but follow instead the made up traditions and doctrines that have occurred in the last 1800 or so years.
If Judgemnt fell upon Peter and Paul and they uncompromisingly obeyed the words of Christ how much sorer judgemtn do you suppose will fall upon this corrupt and evil church of our day that follows not Christ and obeys not his commandments?
All you have to do is read the book of relvelation to find our what happens to the bride that once was without spot and wrinkle after she became the great whore and begat daughters after her image and likeness.
The word in this hour is repent! Seek after Christ with your whole heart and hHe will reveal himself to you as promised.
