I only have problems with TV ads that always show the man as stupid and the woman (or minority) being smart.
I applaud Southwest Airlines for for showing black/female in foolish situations...
Note also the no visible man and woman wins genres. Many commercials show a mom with kids, but no dad to be seen. Apparently their market research shows that unmarried women would be offffeeeeeeeeennnnded seeing a married woman in an ad.
Some TV commercials show a minor man/woman conflict, always resolved in favor of the woman. Wouldnt want protests from the femi-nazis.
