Israel that the birth of a Palestinian Arab state on the biblical lands of Judea, Samaria and Gaza will bring increased security to the Jewish state.
This has GOT to be the biggest "head in the sand" statement ever made!
Using this logic, we would need to reinstate slavery so Americans of African ancestry could finally be free.
Cordially,
GE

As an entity without a state, Palestine was pretty much free to anything they wanted since Israel could not declare war against something as ethereal as the Palestinian people. Now they have a state, they have all the responsibilities and risks associated with that recognition. Their people may not respond to international mediation tactics, but their government will.

Rice has come out of the closet and shown all the world that she too hates Jews. It's sad, I expected so much more than that out of her.

I really can't believe that some folks here want to see Condi as our next president. This isn't the first time she has made ridiculous statements like this.

Statements like this make Ms. Rice appear to be stupid or some kind of anti Jewish kook.

There is absolutely nothing to suggest that providing the PLO with sovereign rule over Israel's ancient heartland is going to bring any security to the Jewish state. Without exception, all the evidence points to the opposite outcome.
The creation of a Palestinian state will lead to the destruction of Israel.
Understanding the history of what has happened to Jewish people particularly in the Twentieth Century; knowing that history is why a Jewish state even exists in the Middle East; and knowing Dr. Rice's policies and determination to promote the Arab agenda - that would make Dr. Rice, an anti-Semite.

All this is nothing but the continuation of the policies of Daddy Bush, James Baker, King Ahab Klinton, Warren Christopher, and Madeline Halfbright! If there are any differences between the policies toward Israel and the Jihadstinians by these various players, they seem well hidden.
Condi's statment shows that she needs to change her meds.

The creation of a Palestinian state will lead to the destruction of Israel. It actually doesn't even matter because Blair will pull out of Iraq if we don't support him in his desire to see a Palestine created. So, the decision is already made and made by someone other than us. Our Israel policy is written up on Downing Street.

US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice Sunday told reporters while en route to Israel that the birth of a Palestinian Arab state on the biblical lands of Judea, Samaria and Gaza will bring increased security to the Jewish state. I, for one, would be interested in hearing on what evidence exactly the secretary bases that assessment.
I think I found whre Con-doofus gets her "evidence"...

It has long been the job of Sec. of State to make pronouncements on how they wish things were in the world, while ignoring all objective evidence to the contrary.
It is a seldom successful childrearing technique, that assumes if you tell the offending child that you expect great things from him, his behavior will change.
The purpose here seems to be to inform the world that the U.S. is being fair in its stated expectations.
In fact it only makes us look stupid, and results in emboldening the PLO, by making them think we are committed to tolerating their behavior.
