This war against the Bush administration needs to be stopped and the perps rooted out of government.

That is the only way to stop it forever.

I have two complaints against Bush:

1) open borders

2) he won't stand up for himself and call out those who lie against him and his administration. It's one thing not to defend oneself, but another not to defend one's associates.

This is why is said Fitzzzzzzzzzzz is doing nothing more than "saving his ass" with the oldest trick in the book. This jacka@@, Fitzzzzzzzzz, lost me as a intelligent attorney. Nothing more than the main stream dunce.

John Dean was a bagman. He took large amounts of cash from the Nixon campaign and used it to bribe the Watergate defendants. The next time you hear Dean pontificating, remember that he was a bagman.

In the end, Fitzgerald accused Libby of lying about his conversations with reporters, not with outing a spy.

It seems that all Libby has to do is to convince the jury that he didn't remember name coming up in meetings, and only remembered hearing it from reporters. If he heard it from both places, it is easy to see how he could confuse which one was his source.

I don't see how they prove that his memory WASN'T faulty. My guess is he will call the reporters, and ask if they heard the name from another source, the reporters will refuse to testify.

How will the prosecuter give him a fair trial in that condition? He can't.

Actually Libby was interviewed by the FBI a few months after the conversations with reporters. Not two years. But it does not change the gist of the article...I can't remember conversations from yesterday.

They could start with a sitdown with Colin Powell. What's with him these days? What made him so disloyal?

Hopefully the trail will lead to the indictment of the real liar in this mess, Joe Wilson. Oh wait, he is a lib, with hitman protection from the union mafia.
