Global warming is real, it's very real. The polar ice caps are melting, we are destroying the ability of the planet to heal itself.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Here's my thing. I'm not unconvinced that this thing is happening, but what makes me sick is the anti-american feelgood liberals running around making themselves feel good turning off their cars in the school pick up line. The number that keeps going through MY head is

6.3 BILLION PEOPLE.

It seems to me that the 'solutions' I'm hearing from the liberals are akin to a doctor looking at a patient with a sucking chest wound and saying "put a tourniquet on that."

If this thing is what it seems to be, what we need to be thinking about is ADAPTING, not changing the friggin' weather when we can't even patrol our darned borders or get North Korea to stop making nukular bombs.

I am a GlobalWarming-sceptic sceptic of sorts. That is, I think there is too much knee jerk anti-GW stuff here on FR, and it makes us no better than the kneejerk GW advocates. Having said that, I am not completely convinced, and even if I was, I am not so sure what is causing it, nor am I in agreement about how to deal with it, and even if we should (instead of just adapting).
