Seriously... Does anyone really think screwing a dog deserves a 20 yr sentence?

I can't believe anyone would even think that, let alone say it! Unless, of course, they thought it was an okay-thing to do...

(BARF) I'd read part of an article (may have been this one)about this already. Goes to show that we have some real sick folks in charge, or they're asleep at the switch.. I'm inclined to vote for "sick".

If I am not already on your ping list, please add me. Thanks for everything you do here. Move East of where you are before Nevada becomes beachfront property.

Oh Come On!!! If a person is raping a dog or cat or gerbil, for that matter, they have to be pretty twisted. Think about it the scenario in your mind for two seconds. The animal would be in great pain and crying out from that pain. Maybe that's funny to you, but I don't think you'd be laughing if you were actually witnessing it.

20 years is just long enough and I would consider my tax dollars going to a better cause than benefits to illegals, for example. I prefer innocent animals having rights to MANY humans having more rights.

Anyway, the stats show that those who abuse animals (who actually die from being raped, by the way) rarely stop there. They have other mental twists and turns that affect children too.

Why were the quotes off topic? We were discussing morality. I brought in some quotes supporting my point of view. Some founders of the this country, and some other thinkers.

Not only not off topic, but agreeing with my position; that is, that morality is absolute. If morality is whatever any individual speculates about, then society quickly becomes a dog eat dog, might makes right anarchy. Why? Because one person's morality is someone else's bestiality. And if those bestiophiles don't like that other people disapprove or even prevent their sexual flings (say, with MY dog, for instance), then if said bestiophile has more money or a position of authority, he will force his immorality on me.

As is happening, right now, via hate crimes/hate speech laws in other countries. And shaking the gates here.

So called "moral relativity" just means that some people want to call immorality morality. Just photo negative values. Not relative at all, that's just a smokescreen. And if someone objects that moral absolutes are religious based and therefore wrong/unconstitutional or whatever, every religion in the world has basically the same moral absolutes. They are indeed universal. And without promoting them, our once great country will become totalitarian in a couple of generations.

Equal is not always same. And homosexual marriage most certainly does destroy society. As with any number of other issues of morality, if you dumb down one, the rest are as well. And further, I doubt the good people of MA who have taken their kids out of public school, some at great expense, or those who have fled this deviant sewer pit with a stench that is nauseating, would agree with you!

I completely agree. Deviancy is deviancy is deviancy. Being targeted for desensitization to this deviancy doesn't make it any less deviant. I don't think the male reproductive organ was meant to go into places it's being put.

I had a debate with a guy on a message board about this very topic. I fell into a logical fallacy thinking that you can equate children and animals on the same terms when you really can't. The people who desire animals, simply desire animals. Its the nature of their 'condition', it doesn't make them pedophiles. You can leave them alone with kids but you may think twice about leaving them alone with Rover. (ick!)

Also, there is a difference between zoophilia and bestiality which I won't get into on this board for the sake of decorum but its something that punched holes in my theory about animal cruelty and bestiality. Its something I wish I could unlearn.

When I boil it all down I find that all objections to homosexuality and gay marriage are of two types: 'that's yucky' and 'it's against my religion'. Neither of those carries any weight with me, and neither should be the basis for government action.

The sodomarriage issue isn't about "Consenting adults" or "bedroom privacy" or "individual or civil or legal rights" like the advocates of homosexual marriage dishonestly and vehemently insist.

"Same sex Marriage" is the "Trojan horse" method of attack by homosexual activists and advocacy groups in the effort to legitimize homosexual behavior in the courts and by legislation. Should homosexual marriage be legalized then by judicial fiat homosexuality would be legitimized across the board. This means that school aged children by law would be taught that homosexual behavior is a "safe" and "normal" alternative "sexual lifestyle" choice and by law parents will have no grounds to object (regardless of the negative spiritual, moral, psychological, biological, and medical consequences) IOW unconditional approval and forced acceptance of homosexuality, kowtow to the gaystoppo or else be hauled of to the gulag to be reeducated.

DIdn't they say once that this is OK so long as the animals give their consent?

How do you figure that one out? One woof = yes; two = no?

Ah ha, and therein lies part of the reason for digging up and rewriting this law, by the perv. "If a person is raping a dog or cat or gerbil, for that matter, they have to be pretty twisted.""

What was that about homosexuals and gerbils? Did anyone else catch that?

Twenty years for doggy diddling? Yes, that's too much.

Would YOU want some sick, dog-f***ing barbarian in your neighborhood after a mere 2.5 years?

" I don't think the male reproductive organ was meant to go into places it's being put."

Not to mention any number of other pass times the deviant culture enjoys. All are abusive and risk health and life.
