DALLAS — A newlywed police officer was killed early Sunday by a suspect he was chasing on foot, authorities said. Officer Brian Jackson and another officer went to investigate a disturbance complaint and chased a male suspect through alleys and between houses, Police Chief David Kunkle said. During the chase, the man fired at the officers, fatally wounding Jackson, Kunkle said. The suspect, Juan Lizcano, 28, was charged with one count of capital murder and was in police custody. Jackson, 28, was a five-year veteran of the Dallas police force and had previously served with the New York Police Department, Kunkle said. He had been married for just two months. Jackson was the first Dallas officer killed since Oct. 23, 2002, when an off-duty officer died in a traffic accident.

Just damn. My very good friend's ONLY CHILD is a cop in Dallas. Her name is Lindsey. Please keep her safety in your prayers. We do worry about her. It is a physical job.

Further down in the article...

That part is no longer in the article. Is Foxnews in on the cover-up?

When the following costs to American-taxpayers for non-American sneak-ins are added up:

Health Care
Emergency Room Care/Hospital bankruptcy
Education
Housing and care of Prisoners

Let's see...just for California alone...the annual cost is approximately 9-10 Billion dollars *a year*! Reports state that this number doesn't account for welfare payments to American workers for job loss, food stamps, English instruction, Spanish classes for administrators, school lunch programs, etc.

And how much are the feds estimating it will cost to send these people back to their motherlands and build a wall? More than this? I doubt it.

I have an idea...
Why not add another bracelet cause to the world where Americans could sponsor an illegal who snuck in to the USA? Americans could buy a bracelet which would help cover a plane ticket out of here, and we could wear the names of those we've sent back on our wrists?

Read this ealier on AR15.com.

RIP brother.

Been informed he was gunned down by a person with less than legal residency. His family was escorted to the airport in R.I. and are/have been making their way to their loved one.

The incident happened not more than 4 blocks from my house. I could see DPD's helo orbiting the scene from my front windows and could hear multiple ground elements moving in running code.

At one point I heard three guntshots and presumed the Dallas police had taken another scumbag off the street. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case.

Local news has been reporting that the perp, Juan Lizcano, is an illegal alien with multiple arrests including domestic violence and DUI.

If the political hacks in DC had been enforcing our borders as they have sworn to, a good man would still be alive.

Which stations have reported the immigration status? I still haven't heard anyone but Ankarlo mention it.

"When he's sober, he's a good person," said Fernandez

According to Ruiz (the uncle), "Juan Lizcano was living in the country illegally, working as a gardener. He described his nephew as calm and said he was unaware of his drinking."

Hmmm...something tells me that even if he had known about his nephew's drinking, he wouldn't have done a thing about it. Basing this on the fact that the uncle turned a blind eye to another fact that his nephew broke the law living here illegally, in the first place.

I agree.

I hate to go as far as to say that this officer's blood is on President Bush's hands (because we don't know whether Lizcano was an illegal or not) but with his lax enforcement of our borders, it sure looks that way.
