The "shuttle-speed" mistake is astounding. My husband teaches astronomy and physics and likes to find mistakes in the news, to show to his students. I know he will appreciate that CNN image.
18 times speed of light.I caught that when it was on.I assumed they meant 18 times the speed of sound.I figure that to be about 13,500 mph(in Earths atmosphere?).Is that accurate?Note:speed of sound equals 750mph?Thanx
