A new survey of 1,000 baby boomers in Massachusetts found that nearly half, or 48 percent, believe they will have to work past age 65 to make ends meet.

I cashed out last year, before the implosion that will happen in the housing market if lots of people leave. That money will go a long way in some other parts of the country toward an affordable house and life-style.

Cashing out of Florida now. We're sick of this place. Dollar for dollar of assessed value, my property taxes are higher than my brother's in the Peoples Republic of Montgomery County, MD. AND the stinkin' traffic is just as bad.

Tennessee, here I come. Ye ha.

Any Tennessee FReepers want to hire a smart credit/accounts receivable manager [my wife] for their company? For each of the last 5 years she's had less than 1% uncollectables, and her customers are building contractors.

Uh, don't worry. She's a lot smarter than I am.
